ProfileIna Queiss grew up in Germany. As a child she explored her creativity and movement qualities while following lessons in dance, music and extreme sports. By the age of 10 she found the unicycle and stucked to it ever sins. Very soon she cycled at national (GER) and European championships. In 1998 she founded the company "Trio Espressivo" together with Anna Abrams and Maik M. Paulsen. The company performed successfully for five years. Ina then moved to Holland to learn how to organize circusprojects and to teach creative movement in social contexts. After completing her Bachelor in 2007 she decided to get her artistically skills on a higher level and started the BA Degree Circus Arts at Codarts University, Rotterdam. She is learning how to combine her high-skilled unicycling with other artforms as dance and theatre. One day the BMX came rolling into her life and became soon her big passion next to unicycling. She is very proud to introduce the BMX as an extreme sport in the world of contemporary circus. Now Ina is one of the best skilled Freestyle-unicyclists in the Netherlands and is still enjoying the training of her disciplines in cooperation with other professionals. Ina has a lot of work experience and performs as a solo performer with her company Bikerina and as a member of company Cycling Circus and Art de la Rue. Ina has her speciality in cycling but she also loves to perform in the air with aerial rope and silks. That makes her able to do the most different acts, with different partners in different settings like (street)festivals, theatres, musicals, Coorporate events and circus shows. See also her CV. |
